Their body their choice? Then came my choice?

I dated a girl several years ago dated her for about 3 months. One night she revealed to me that she had an abortion by the guy she dated just before me and from that very moment I knew it was over I could not date her anymore. Her and my Mom remained friends over the years and I know my Mom regretted that we broke up. However I knew after she revealed she had an abortion there was someone missing someone that should have been there but wasn't.

Others may see this as more of a personal story which it is that alright but it's also how things work and they may give their opinions. The bottom line is this yes it was her body (not the baby's) but she was allowed to do what she did and she did what she did and then came my choice. Not that I date anymore but if so if I did I could never date anyone that has had an abortion and that is my choice. And therefor men have choices too and I made mine.

The two choices are just agreeing, so there really is no choice. The woman made her choice and if she confronted herself & asked if it was the right decision then I believe 100% it was the right decision for her.

I’m not going to go back into my past & present & future, what I will say simply is I used to be ‘pro life’ and stuck in that narrow minded thinking… I heard from real victims, real stories, and real issues because as people life is complicated & abortion is complicated. I stand by the woman.

You made your choice to dump her, so it was your choice.

I never rejected a woman who had an abortion, or I would not have had that many girlfriends since I dated at least 4 that had in the past
