You have to start overthinking everything said and seen, that is the only way for you to make sure that you don't fall into traps.

Overthinking is actually good for you. I call it situation analysis and avoids me to fall for things that people want me to believe.

Start by questioning everything that is presented to you from words to pictures, to news articles to about anything that comes out of the mouth of people and in newspapers, the internet, TV and social media. Don't believe anything unless you can crosscheck it with a reliable source such as a medical site, a government office or the like.

That is the only way to make sure that you are not gullible to the information people feed you with. Never make a decision on the spot and always double check everything. Always.
