I've had that happen several times- and how did I react?
Meh. It is what it is I guess? Haha.

Both guys were happily married or taken when they told me as well, it was just saying they said in passing like, "Yeah, remember back in college? I liked you but was afraid to tell you, or didn't think you liked me." But it's 5-0 years later and said guy is now married- I guess he's clearing his conscience, or it's his way of saying, "I used to think you were attractive, but was too afraid to act on it."

It doesn't phase me since, well what can you do? When they should have said something, they didn't. And now said crush is a moot point so... thanks for being honest I guess? It boosts my self esteem for about...5 seconds before I move on with my life.

I’m past that point where crushing means something. Anybody can crush or not crush. Whats the purpose of it. And what would it lead to? Those are the influencing factors for me.

Sounds like a fairytail story out of the book but I confessed to a girl I considered a friend at this point that I had some sort of feelings/crush for her a few years back. I wanted to tell her bec I could trust her and I just wanted to completly close that chapter in my mind.

Well she told me she did too but thought I didn't see her that way (I tried really hard to hide my crush and went out of my way to handle her like just a friend). Had fun talking about it and agreed to go on a real date toghether just to see how it goes a few days later. Well turned out we liked each others company and it turned to more and now after 2 years we will marry next year.

I would be shocked that I didn’t have a clue that they did and think why did you wait this long to tell me? If I am attracted to her and I was single? I would say well what are we waiting for then , let’s not waste more time

This one girl claimed to have a crush on me. She claimed to have gotten me together with another girl I wasn't even interested in thinking it would get me to become interested in her somehow. Now she hates me 🤣
