Matched a guy on-line 7 days ago. We met up on 7th day. Within 10 mins of our meet up he tried to tongue kiss me in the coffee shop. I declined. We went to his car after talking and we did kiss briefly maybe 45 mins later. He then said let's go to my place. I said I just met you. He said we been talking 7 days. He said I don't normally take this long to know someone. He asked 3 more times I declined and went home. He said he'll go at my pace but if too slow he'll loose interest. The next day his energy drops towards me. I mention it and he says I'm imagining it. He also said he's not gonna pursue any more because I'm making a big deal about sex. However he said I can pursue him if I wish. Men - can you tell me what I did wrong? Also what is his motive?

Love? Possible but rare.

Sex? Almost every case with guys.

This episode of yours showed clearly what most online dates are.

Do you do it right?

If you want love (aka a long term relationship) then yes.

If you want sex, then you missed the opportunity.

Anyway, my opinion is, if you want to find a guy for a long term relationship, then avoid online dating.

Time to move on.
I have had dates where we had sex on the first date, but both parties are in total agreement, and it happens.
I have dated someone for a few months, but we never had sex.
The spark just wasn't there.
You need to set your limits, and he needs to either respect them or move on.

He said what his motivation is... I think it is wrong from his part to pressure you for sex. I dont think you gonna miss much if you drop him. Maybe some sexual diseases - you can't be naive and think you were the only one who he tries to fuck and he said himself sex is not a big deal for him. That guy is not loyal.

Meh, I wouldn’t worry about this guy too much. He’s just using you for sex and making it all about himself. The other scenario just involves him having sex with you and then leaving immediately. You just skipped a couple steps ahead.
