My boyfriend called me ugly twice "as a joke" maybe That hurt me and I cry after reading those texts over and over again. What should I do?

If you think he meant it or he meant to hurt you, it's a good sign you should end things. Talk to your parents and older family members too.

But be aware that some people's genuine humor involves teasing. My wife and I say awful things to each other, because we both love each other and 100% know it's all a joke. We joke about divorcing or cheating or murdering each other. That's just the way we are. He may be that same way, but even if so, you just need to make sure he understands that this isn't how YOU joke. He'll have to accommodate you on this one. And maybe when you get older, you'll start joking the same way and it all works itself out anyway.

Be very forward with him and tell him how that word makes you feel, he shouldn't have said id at all but guys are idiots, be serious and tell him not to do that it's rude and wrong.
