How to overcome insecurity on looks?

- A girl showed a lot of interest in me.
- Another guy flirted with her.
- She bounced over to him.
- Other people commented that he is very handsome.
- I became insecure about my looks as a result of that.
- Feels like women can just walk out on you at any time when a better-looking guy comes along.

How do you guys overcome insecurity about looks? Especially when you know there will always be more attractive people. I never had such insecurity until this happened...

You have to learn detachment when it comes to women. All PUA's have learned this. I not suggesting you become a PUA. But I am saying you need to learn this. Play the part, don't be the part. Tell her all you need to accomplish your ends. Sound sincere, but for God sakes don't be sincere. I know this sounds foul. It is if you have nefarious means. And some guys do. All you're doing is hacking a woman's system. When you know her motivations you know what buttons to push. If you pick the RIGHT woman she has the ability to be very loyal. But as I said this all starts with detachment. NEVER get emotionally attached to a woman until you're CERTAIN she's attached to you. It wouldn't even be the worst thing to NEVER get emotionally attached to her. Because all that happens then is you lose (at least some) control. And it adds NOTHING to the relationship. You have to understand, women do not do well with logic or reality. Almost all women would rather believe a pleasant fiction than harsh reality.
