Let’s say you’re deeply in love with a person who is already married/in a relationship. Would you move on and try to forget them like a mature person would or would you rather be a sidepiece rather than not getting to have them at all?

I would never be in, or settle for such a degrading, pointless position. For one, falling in love takes time. It takes some level of romance, whether that’s flirting, excess attention, deep conversations, spending time, all these things that I would never invest with someone in the first place when they’re already committed to someone. I would also be so put out by a man who’s behaving like a bachelor when they aren’t.
