I really have eyes on this woman but she is an operations manager at a gym who has been to uni and I’m a labourer. It’s not that I’m nervous but I feel little out of my depth approaching her and especially telling her what my job is.

You work hard and have some skills. There is nothing to be embarrassed about. Before I graduated from college my wife made a lot more money than I did. It was never an issue. My wife knew I was working hard and I was going to college at night.
