What was your main reason for friendzoning people who fancied you?

I can only think of 3. And each had different reasons.

The first asked me out and she came out of left field with it. I was 21 and she was 17. I thought I was too old for her (I know, kind of silly but 4 years. seems like a wide gap at that age, or so i felt).

The second didn't even find me attractive. She even said so.😆 What I think she was attracted to was I was a ROCK in her unstable, chaotic world. She had 3 kids and was married to a guy who was in jail awaiting sentencing. I felt bad for her and since I was able to, so I helped her out a bit and she tried coming on to me more than once.

The 3rd time was someone my sister tried to set me up with. This woman knew nothing about me that my sister didn't tell her. And I was turned off by the way she came at me. I'm kind of tall and she wanted to meet me because of my height. I could care less about a woman's height. But I really don't like a woman who equates a man's height to his value. And yes I know this is a thing for a lot of women and I understand that. But it's better if she just doesn't say anything about it. Because I find it shallow, it turns me off and I have a hard time respecting her after that.

Just not my type. They are nice people, but I'm not attracted to them.

For example I may be attracted to intelligence, but this woman is a great person but not very deep in their thinking.

We shall separate not seeing someone as a partner, versus rejecting them as a person.

I may like my grandma a lot, yet it doesn't mean I shall have sex with her.

What if a person you meet at first has great chemistry but it just dissapears with time but a person you didn't see the chemistry with at first builds with time?

That depends on a lot of things having a different belief system when it comes to certain things religiously, politically, what’s right and wrong or indifferent. Things like that not saying someone has to agree with everything with me but there are some things that are a deal breaker.

Being too focused on sex. Being too focused on material things. Not wanting to build a genuine relationship. Someone who has a bad history. Someone who is a entitled brat.

There is a lot of things.
