Generally women fear rejection much more then men do. Many of them aren’t used to it. They generally take rejection much more personally then men do. They are also more worried about what other people might “think of them” if they get turned down. They are terrified of “looking desperate”

You see it all the time when a woman gets turned down they will make up excuses to protect their egos e. g. the guy is “probably gay” or some crap.

It’s really a mixture of both but I will say for both sexes if you snooze you loose NEVER assume the other person will approach. They are probably just as nervous as you are if not more.

Let me say this as well even if you’re rejected you have closure and you aren’t wasting your time on that individual anymore.

Definitely, women.. They could have a huge crush on a guy, and only give hints, and if those hints aren't taken it'll remain a crush til she moves on. Whereas with a guy, even the shy ones, more likely they'll get to a point where some type of move is made..
