u 1 yAre you saying that guys in a relationship should not DM any female? I am married, there is one particular female G@G user who is married, and I have DM'd her for years. Should my wife and her husband be notified by someone?

No, a lot of people assumed that’s what I meant so I clarified. There’s nothing wrong with friends however I don’t believe that you can have a close close friend of the opposite gender in a relationship because your partner should fill that space….. however my question was more so men that are in relationships or women that are in relationships and flirting
- 1 y
So you don't think men and women who are in relationships should try to maintain platonic relationships with members of the opposite sex?
- 1 y
I don’t think it’s always the healthiest or the odds of it happening are very slim as long as no one’s cheating. I don’t care.

I talk to @midnightmoon05 regularly, in DMs and by phone. I also occasionally talk with her husband - @lightbulb27 - via DMs. On Monday this week, my wife and I the two of them for dinner in St. Augustine. It happens.
There are other women I have DMd regularly on this site. Every one of them will tell you that I have never made any inappropriate comments or suggestions to them. Purely platonic. I have platonic female friends at church and at work. - 1 y
Good morning Mr. B.! Happy Sunday! We are driving up today. Was a pleasure meeting up last week with you and Helen.
Yeah, we have been friends for like 9 yrs… it was like meeting up with an old friend. That we knew each other well… very cool!
Have a good day. Say hello to your wifey.

@sage2021 It might be for some people, but there is no emotional cheating with @midnightmoon05. Her husband often listens in our conversations and I took my wife to meet @midnightmoon05 and @lightbulb27 when they were recently in Florida. Some people may use the opportunity to emotionally cheat but not all of us do. I have never tried to be more than a friend to midnightmoon05, and she has never asked me for more than friendship.
If you have had someone emotionally cheat on you, then you have my sympathies. I have had two women cheat on my with sexual relationships and I know the pain. But everyone is not a cheater or a potential cheater. I've never cheated - not once - in 54 years of dating, relationships, and marriage, and I have no intention to start now or anytime in the future. - 1 y
@OlderAndWiser
We have had so many conversations on here and people concluded it is considered emotional cheating. - 1 y
@sage2021 What counts is that I don't consider it cheating, my wife does not consider it cheating, not does @midnightmoon05 or @lightbulb27. And I hope that you don't, because I respect you, but your opinion is at a lower level of importance.
If midnightmoon05 calls me and my wife is present, I will activate speaker phone so everyone can participate.
Some people - and I don't necessarily include you - thiink that men and women are incapable of having platonic relationships. That statement may be true for some men and some women, but certainly not all of us. - 1 y
@OlderAndWiser
I think that you are the exception because your wife knows about it.
I'm talking about doing it behind your spouse's back when you are in a committed love relationship or married and keeping it secret. - 1 y
Lightbulb and I haves lots of couple friends… we are social people and open and honest and inclusive when it comes to our love life and friendships with others…I ladies ask about their partner/spouses … true friends should do… none of this… should I go out with my guy friend for a drink?
We do FaceTime with other gag couples, family members. I make sure our relationship is well connected respectfully.
It is working very well with my big family of 18 people between my brother, sisters, nephews, nieces… we made our parents proud by giving them 9 grandkids! All doing very well in school and all very successful!
We need to make our families great again…
Not the nonsense we read about often on gag… that’s not my reality… just small % of lost sheep… some temporary… some … I don’t know.

1 yI'll admit that I do. When it's some dude's girl or some random I will show my wife pretty fast.
I just consider it drama I don't want to deal with. My wife is like the alibi I might need later on when it's some cheating chick trying to draw me into her fray. I also stop talking back as soon as it's obvious.
Fortunately for me, my wife is to the point of knowing these chicks are total sluts and doesn't blame me for what they're doing. She just sort of coaches me on how to cut off the contact and then she keeps an eye out on the bitch. Keep in mind I have no interest in these chicks... I'm just dead sexy and it is what it is. They get obsessed and start going off the rails. My wife is pretty smart about it... gets others involved as far as knowing what is going on and lets say one of these chicks goes too far... there is so many people ready to testify against her that they back down and disappear.

I think in a relationship, it's healthy to have friends of both genders... but cheating, whether emotional or physical is unacceptable. So if a guy in a relationship started crossing a line... id block him and stop talking to him.
If the other woman is my friend, I'm telling her...

1 yWhen they start flirting … yes I would end their and tell them they are being disrespect to their marriage.
My hubby (@lightbulb27) and I have met multiple males/females/couple friends on this site through the years we have been members.
enjoy and thank you for showing respect to yourself regarding not dealing with those who are not being respectful to there own marriage/relationship

1 yDepends on what they’re wanting. Anything sexual they should know better and it’s not snitching. I’m not getting into that with someone else. As well as I think their partner deserves to know.
If someone was cheating on me I would want to know or attempting to.10 Reply- 3.5K opinions shared on Dating topic.
1 yNothing wrong with playful flirting.
00 Reply 2.1K opinions shared on Dating topic. Put it this way:
If she’s my friend’s girl then I would tell him because of my friendship with him and not because of some holier than thou principle.
If she’s dating a guy I don’t know then it’s not my circus not my clowns.
I won’t take it upon myself to reach out to him and tank his relationship.
(Maybe he knows and approves for all I know)
I will however address it with her assuming she’s pushing for a date or a hookup
And let her explain exactly how does a woman in a relationship ends up asking for this.
I will definitely not participate in her attempts to cheat.
But if her man is a cuck who lets her do this knowingly then why not. It’s fair game00 ReplyHell no leave that shit alone Don't even feed into it if you fucking know don't even say nothing let them get their own backlash Don't get involved in a whole bunch of fucking drama it's not worth it like really is not now you can let them know who they are or that you know who they are but no snitching on here away from here at work nowhere everybody run their own shit stay away from that
10 Reply2.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. I don't DM other women like that so it will never be an issue. Way more likely stuff happens in person. Have had women getting half naked or feeling themselves up right next to me, wanting that special delivery. Hope it never happens again cause you can get into some dangerous situations. Like the time a woman lied to her husband about me when I rejected her and he wanted to kill me but I did nothing wrong.

1 yI've always believed that you should let people be, as they should leave you alone when they are not directly involved.
And snitches eventually get stitches...
