Girl I had a date postponed it? Was she just being polite or does she really want to see me?

Girl I have had a crush on since forever. We recently reconnected through social media and got close.
I already tried to see her a few times through the years but she never made specific plans, so I assumed she was taken - or just not Interested.

However, After a convo where we bonded more a few weeks back, I thought i 'd give one last chance and ask for a drink. She finally said yes ! She then gave me her number, and proposed the day.
Unfortunately , the day of the date, She texted how she is sorry , but woke up not feeling good and since the weather was shite, afraid to fall sick and contaminate me in the process or her daughter.
then started sending me voice mails on how she tried to look for alternative but she did not felt the strenght for it, and hope we could reschedule. However she managed to find another day, asked it if was ok for me, and even sent me her work adress where I could pick her up. Is it just for not being rude and stay true to her word, or is she really trying to see me? I dare not to ask if it's a date since i do not want to make it awkward if she says no and thought i'd go just with the flow...

Dude, that's a really good sign! The fact that she rescheduled and even offered to let you pick her up from work shows she's definitely interested in seeing you.

If she was just being polite, she probably would have just said "Sorry, can't make it" and left it at that. But the fact that she went out of her way to find another time and gave you her work address means she's putting in effort to make this happen.

I wouldn't worry too much about whether she sees it as an official "date" or not. Just go with the flow, have a good time, and see where things go. The important thing is that she's enthusiastic about hanging out with you.

My advice would be to just relax and be your normal, charming self. Don't overthink it or put too much pressure on it. Just focus on enjoying each other's company and seeing where the conversation takes you.

If it goes well, you can always clarify later on if you two are on the same page about the nature of your meetup. For now, just be stoked that she's giving you a chance! Sounds like she's into you, bro. Good luck!
