Girl's Behavior

She told me I was the right person at the wrong time but still wants to see me, did I ruin it by asking to date and should have let her bring it up?

I had been seeing this girl for two months when I thought it was time to have a talk about where the relationship was going. The backstory is we met on a dating app and hit it off right away. After three weeks we were hanging out 3-4 times a week. She told me that she was very recently out of a serious relationship where she lived together with her ex, and still had things she needed to move from the old place. She was transparent that she was over him but would tell me about their interactions. A month in we had a discussion that we both liked each other, she told me she wouldn’t pass up on the right person just because she was fresh out of a relationship and that I checked all the boxes. We also said we werent interested In seeing other people. At this point we had both met our friends and hung out with them multiple times. She would tell my friends how much she liked me and tell me how much her friends liked me as well. She then wanted me to meet her dad and we spent time with him multiple times leading up to the conversation. I also had a tooth brush at her place and was always talking about us. We had talked about future plans we we’re going to do and even the day of her telling me she couldn’t commit to a serious relationship we were supposed to spend time with her dad, and she mentioned a restaurant we have to try. When I brought up making the relationship serious she told me she wasn’t ready and couldn’t commit due to her prior relationship ending so soon. She told me she wants the freedom of being single, but still wants to see me and spend time with because she really likes me. She doesn’t want to text or talk everyday anymore and wants to hangout less though. She also told me this wasn’t because she wants to see other people. It was such a shock to me based on how everything was going and I am crushed. I agreed to keep seeing her because I fell for her and want to see her. A day after this conversation I already saw her back on hinge, What should I do?
