The man I’m interested in just recently got out of a three year relationship. It had been rocky for a while, but he finally bit the bullet not to long ago and ended it. He’s still trying to be friends with her, but it’s difficult cause she’s very jealous. She told him she hated me not too long ago.
We kinda have a friends with benefits relationship rn, which I’m fine with. He confides in me, gets some comfort, and we mess around a little bit. He calls me cute, tells me he likes me, says he cares about me, constantly says he loves my laugh, says that I make him feel comfortable, says he could listen to me talk all day, and we just fuck around and laugh a ton together. If nothing else he’s one of my best friends.
Last night we were playing a game and he said something along the lines of
“I don’t know what we are, but I’m so glad you’re in my life and that I met you. Thank you so much for being here for me.”
I said we should maybe talk about it later, when both of us are in better places.
He said maybe, then asked if I was in any rush.
I’m not, so I said no. And he thanked me.
I just wanna know if you think I have a chance with him in the future? Did we just start this at a time that made it difficult for anything to happen? I like him a lot, and just want the best for both of us.
