Do you agree that it's easy to get a new love than to get back to a love that was broken in your past?

Doesn't it feel easier to get a new love than to fix a past love? Why people still wants to fix those painful past loves instead getting this new and better love with someone else? Why is it so hard to move on from a past love even if that past love isn't better than new ones that can come later?

I don't say that all past loves are this way. Some past loves can get back with each other if they realise their mistake. But I say, if any of them broke up with the other, it's better for both persons to not get in a relationship with each other again because if they broken the heart of the other person once, they may break twice and thrice. No one deserves to be treated like a doormat. Hence, if a relationship is going smoothly, it should go as such only without breakups

If they once break up, it's always better to find and be with a new love instead of going back to someone who broken their heart

I agree people need to understand that when we go through relationships like that they're meant for us to learn something and to move on and when you just cannot seem to get that through your head you have to live it again and live it again and live it again until you finally get it I guess but I'm 100% with you I agree with you life is beautiful and the things that make life beautiful are the new experiences the new things that we learn the new people that we become friends with why go back into that whole of I've already been here before what am I doing back here no you grow you keep growing you become better and it's something happens you take your time out you acknowledge it you learn from it and then you do it again until we get it right

On your new post I mean I think that's up to you for me it's already taken its course and when you're with somebody if they were into you they would battle to keep you and when it's easy for somebody just to walk away that tells me that they weren't really into me and I'm going to respect that and move on to bigger and better things because if you think about it. Life is just way too short and The learning experience that we learn when we go through this and the pain that we go through it doesn't ever have to come back and why would you allow it to come back into your life again when there's something new refreshing and it's a new outlook on everything it's a chance to be a better person to make it work again for me it's just something beautiful to expanding growing and allowing somebody back in to share life with

I mean I don't know about you but I can feel your heart and I think you are a good person I think you'd be a fun person and I think that you would be more happier with starting over but just because I think something doesn't mean I'm right but I would say go for it go for a new life a new challenge shake all that heartbreak stuff off and start all over again you're well worth it I know you are the past is the past let it stay there you've already been there and in life we need to experience and explore new things always because we always need to be growing become a better person better everything and with that brings new adventures and new happiness new outlooks new goals new feelings no emotions knew everything

Love is not just those feelings you get in the early stages of a relationship, i. e. the first couple of years. If it doesn't go the distance and you're not able to overcome your issues with each other, it wasn't really love on one or both parts.

It's easier for WOMEN to get a new love interest than it is for men, on average, and it's a LOT easier too.

Personally i find both hard, that is why i'm not eager to be in love anymore, i do wish to fall in love cause love is beautiful but when it comes to reality, i'm just like naaahhh, i had enough, don't have the energy at all to give anymore or to fail again!

Well its more that finding new love is extremely difficult, and getting back with a previous girlfriend is impossible. Once a relationship is ruined, its ruined forever.

So while its "easier", its definitely not easy.

It’s not always better. Sometimes it’s better to find a new person but other times you still love the old person. Every case is different.

What to do when the flame goes out? Books I read said: treat the relationship as very important, fake it till you make it... In other words behave like you love her, be kind considerate, buy her flowers etc etc

I met my hubby 2016 on gag… dated LD 4 yrs… broke up for a yr… we worked through some difficult times on our own… got back together… happily married since 2022….
We are living the best of our lives because we care and love each other dearly…
So if one who doesn’t make changes…. Meeting someone new can be fun till one faces challenges… if both willing to make changes to love, grow together… then it will work… life is not easy… make the best of each day and love the person who is in your life.

I think getting a new love will be hard that is if the past love was sincere. Whether it is a painful past, it still had sweet memories that can't be erased
