I must have done something right, 'cause my partner and I are together from day 1, lasting 20+ years now.
It will be interesting to have women's view on this. Earning a woman's affection is probably the most difficult thing we have to learn.
Honestly, I want a guy to be a gentleman. Holding doors or helping me. I also want a man to sing with me and dance with me. I don't care about nice gifts or expensive dinners, I want the small moments that equal memories. I want the little things to matter more than flashy things. I know I'm young and maybe that type of courting no longer exists, but that's what I want. Besides, I honestly am the type of person who dates to marry if that's relevant.
building genuine connection and consistency with meaningful conversations, checking up on me, making me feel safe and thought of. I am a romantic, so little things like flowers and things I like being gifted. Taking me to places I like or wanna try.
As long as two people are courting each other. If it’s one sided RUN

Courting -- proper courting -- takes time. A guy has to show consistent effort and a gal has to consistently respond to the effort.
A guy would earn a gal's affection with good manners and conversation (as opposed to simply being a garden-variety horndog). They used to call it "winning her over" or "earning her favor" and now it's basically just a show of affection in response to the guy's actions.
As far as what works, it's a little different based on who the gal is. Not every girl loves to be lavished with attention. Best to take smaller, consistent steps than to overwhelm her with gestures, however sweet or kind they may be. Also, guys can be a little direct to let a girl know... "Hey, I like you." from the very start. It sets the tone directly to "courting mode" so the guy isn't wasting his time courting a girl who won't reciprocate.
The guys who have “gotten me” all had one thing in common I can think of, which is confidence. The one who has kept me also respects me, is loving, funny, protective, good in social situations, good with parents and with children, is smart and has a good career, and is just overall is a good man. His friends tease him that he is lucky to be with me because he is average looking, but I think I am lucky to be w him. He makes me feel special every day.
Ima sound really greedy but my now husband won me over by spoiling me I never had a man do it ans honestly yeah he buys me expensive things but even when he just comes home with a snack it'd the thought and effort that counts it's how he tells me I'm worth every penny and randomly get me flowers and stuff
i like being courted flowers and singing love songs
You’re too old for this Lorri Morgan. Go retire and stop
He usually just asks me for sex and I block him. Or we have nothing in common and conversations gradually dwindle into silence.
That’s so sad, why are you approached that way
Well I wish that was the case with Jessy And I but it never happened
Haven’t had a man really win me over yet , all the men I’ve met were weird or jerks.

I like to shower her with gifts. This shows her exactly how much she means to me.
Chivalry 😍
Unfortunately many narcissistic women want chivalry but it’s sexist to expect her to do anything for the man. It really burns out good men who don’t want a one sided relationship
I can’t talk for other women but me I would give him everything if he’s chivalrous 😌 in my mind chivalry only goes with a high level woman so it’s not one sided. it’s like the perfect man with the perfect woman ( even I am not perfect enough for this that’s why it’s only a fantasy)
