1 yMost the women I meet are women I more naturally get to know. I don’t put on a big show and dance I figure that if she likes me she will like me and if she don’t she don’t…
Both men and women just need to present themselves as who they are. Because if you pretend to be someone you’re not what’s going to happen is that woman or man is going to start getting to know you just to loose interest. Maybe some people are superficial maybe some aren’t but they just are looking for someone else.
Also online dating or just picking up girls I don’t even know is weird to me. I think people who especially just sleep with a random person are disgusting. That’s just nasty as nasty can be who knows what disease's someone has. Picking someone up and trying to build a genuine connection are different. For people who don’t know a lot of people I understand maybe approaching more people.
As for me attraction takes time anymore. To figure out if someone is worth my time and effort or not…: and a lot of people just aren’t. A lot of people would rather have a new man/woman over all the tjem. They’re never happy. They never had a happy relationship. They can’t form genuine relationships. They aren’t looking for love and I see how many people are simply miserable.

She was the bartender. I decided that I would wait until she got off work and I would ask her out. So ay 11 pm she got off shift and i told her i would walk with her to her car. I told her about my friend and a few other things that were rattling around in my head. She was totally confused about what I was talking about until I looked at her and said "so would? She smiled and said "what, go out with you?" And I just nodded. She did o out with me and we dated for 4 or 5 months. I tried this a couple of more times and went two for two.

1 yYou really think that most of these terminally online losers on this website actually have the social skills and confidence to approach women? That's hilarious!

@KrakenAttackin: I don't have kids and I'm definitely not single. I bet you are though.

@Tiffany_Taylor_Made don’t pick on the @KrakenAttackin, that’s my job….
But also, a little harsh with the whole “loser thing,” no? Come on…. @DishLady: Yeah, I'm all too familiar with @KrakenAttackin, mainly in the politics section. Any interaction with him is almost always hostile. I'm almost certain that he hates Black people. As for the whole "loser" thing being "harsh," I stand by what I said. Just check out most of the answers in this question. Many of them are either too shy or scared of imaginary "consequences," when the worst she can realistically do is say "no." Besides, "loser" is nothing compared to what many guys here say about women in general, or how they typically respond to me in certain posts that they disagree with.

AskApproaching someone can feel like a strategy game—each move can determine your success. 🎮 First and foremost, be yourself and be genuine. Instead of using scripted lines, start a conversation based on the setting or shared interests. Maybe compliment something specific that caught your attention. Keep it relaxed and friendly, and show genuine interest in what she has to say. Building a connection comes naturally when you’re authentic and respectful. Remember, just like in gaming, practice makes perfect!

1 yThis is a good question but the answer is much too complicated for women to undrrstand. Having success aproaching women is multi faceted.
Where are you approaching? - Cold approaching at a night club is different than at a grocery store, etc. Men need to understand how to switch it up accordingly.
Whats your USP? - Getting woman is the same as selling to customers you need to not only have a unique selling proposition, but you need to know how to sell it. - Approaching a women at a house party is different than approaching a woman at your house party.
Be willing to accept defeat - Women think successful approaching means a man gets every woman he approaches. That unrealistic and is part of female delusion in reality even the world's greatest pick up artist only get about 10% of the women they approach. The key is to practice on as many women as possible.
ABF - Much like how in Sales you should always be flirting. One of the things I encourage guys to do is flirt w/ a woman you have no interest in, just so your game can stay sharp. Over time it will become 2nd nature to you. Add and remove parts of your game based on what does and doesn't work.

Anonymous(36-45)1 yWell back when I was younger I used to make an innocuous comment about the surroundings. Like “hey do you notice that?” and watch her body language and how she would respond. If she gives me a word response and/or has a unpleasant expression in her face I would move on. But if she smiled and gave a detailed answer then I would introduce myself.
But two things happened 1) I got older 2) all the #metoo bs made more paranoid about getting a very negative reaction from the woman.
I’ve had women say real nasty things to me when I’ve politely said hello. I was even publicly embarrassed one time. Also I often have no idea if she is taken or not. I’ve had jealous bfs get real confrontational over this crap.
We are living in a post #metoo era now. I think some of that crap is reversing (thank God). But there is still a lingering paranoia for a lot of guys out there when it comes to this.

1 yI don't. Everyone looks in their smartphones, everyone listens to music in their headphones - well, almost - approaching women seems almost impossible. And on top of that - there is a lot of risk that they will call you a pervert or something like that. So why would I take the risk anyway, since I have like 90-95% chance of rejection? Too much risk, too little reward.
And even if I succed in a small talk - let's say - they disengage pretty quickly. I don't know how to push topic further and they dive in their smartphone really quick. So yeah... It's gg.
10 Reply1.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. I´m probably not a quality guy. I haven´t approached a woman in years simply because I don´t know when and where. In the supermarket and on trains most people talk to their phone or wear headphones. There doesn´t seem to be a good place to do so I don´t approach strange women but rather try to get to know a woman that I already know roughly from social gatherings.

1 yi feel like i click better with women and most of my close freinds are women so for me i just find it natural to approach them and most of the time i do so to be freinds rather than seeking a romantic relationship as i find that once your freinds feelings of attraction find there way to you

one thing i will say though is it can be challenging especially since (some) not all women think if a guy approaches them they either want something, are gonna ask them out, or over analyze and end up putting walls up and acting like the guy is creepy so ima just say it approaching is hard cause you never really know what your gonna get if your lucky its someone nice if not they might actually mess with your head
1.5K opinions shared on Dating topic. I've always been pretty bold and upfront ( slightly different in the workplace ) , then gauge reaction and see where its going ( or otherwise ) , I like to think that nothing has been left on the table , and that the plan is fun ( so there is an out ) , but also obvious , but to make this work you also need to approach those you are actually not interested in.
10 Reply631 opinions shared on Dating topic. It's 2025... approaching woman we don't know and actually talking to them has become more dangerous then going to war
You gotta be very careful otherwise you risk getting called pervert, freak, loser, creep etc...
Going to war is safer then approaching and talking to woman these days20 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)1 yStep 0: Become a passport bro and go, where approaching women is met with accepting us in open arms. If you don't need to become a passport bro, then skip to step 1.
Step 1: Approach women, say hello, give a simple compliment, initiate small talk

1 yI don't use any. I'm just me. I tend to joke around a bit but, I don't chase women. If she finds something about me attractive then, so be it. If she doesn't, again, so be it.

@DishLady I guess so. So far, except for Carol and Cindy, all the girls I've been involved with came after me. Even a few that I'm not romantically involved with came after me. Carol I met through my guitarist, she was his girlfriend before we started seeing each other. Although, she claims we met 2 or 3 summers before when we both worked at Cedar Point. Cindy was introduced to me by a psychologist friend of mine because Carol left me and he thought Cindy & I would be a great couple.
Caroline saw me here maybe a year ago, liked some of the responses I was posting and wanted to meet me. We've been good friends ever since.
Most often, they don't turn out to be girlfriends or lovers but, there's nothing wrong with just being friends.
Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yWhy would a man approach a woman this day in age? Even talking to a woman can get you put on blast as "creepy", arrested for harassment, fired from your job, and permanently branded as a pervert. And for what? To possibly get a date with a girl who has a bad attitude, a high body count, a lot of debt, and some other guys kids?
No thanks.

Anonymous(30-35)1 yI don't think guys really "approach" women anymore like they used to. That has become too hazardous. These days it's more dating apps and getting to know a woman in school or other common places whether men and women congregate.
