Guys, I Need Some Tips With Approaching Women?

Hello! I'm 18 and about to graduate from high school and community college. I'm also on the road of joining the Air Force. So, I'm young obviously and I never had a girlfriend and really want one. I've tried multiple times with other women by sliding in DM's on Instagram (obviously never worked out). I put up a poll and found some sources that women prefer being approached compared to meeting them on a dating app. I have zero experience on approaching women and never even have done it. I need tips on how to do it like what do I even say or what am I supposed to say when I get rejected.
I know some things like I should approach them if I think they are giving me signs. So, guys, any tips?

First. Take a deep breath.

Second. Boldness impresses a girl. Just the fact that you went up to her will make her nervous but will flatter her.

Third. When you approach her realize that she is not an alien. She isn't a goddess. She is just another girl. Her poops stinks just like yours. Treat her just like any other girl. Calm her down by being super chill and casual about everything like you do this all the time.

Fourth. Dont use any fucking pick up lines. Women are very perceptive. They can tell if you are a scared puppy. They can tell if you are a newbie.

Fifth. Realize that women are just as horny as you are. They want to fuck guys too. They just dont want to feel like a slut or be slut shamed. So be the accident. Be the guy she tell her gfs "it just happened. he was super chill and kinda cute."

Lastly, be authentic. this is very important. When you first approach her be matter of fact yet charming. "Hi, I'm Chad. You're really pretty. Do you mind if I sit here and just drink this beer with you?" (notice how you aren't being a wuss and buying her a beer out right?) or you could say, "Hey, how is it going? I was over there and when I saw you I just though-wow. I totally have to talk to her. How's it going what's your name?" I would go with the second option. That is a totally authentic and badass way to do it.

Figure out your sense of humor, and make her laugh!! Break the ice with something unique, and just spontaneous, at the moment, just for her!! No 'lines' or BS!!
Practice with the checkers at the grocery store, or Walmart, or Target! Their job sucks, and if you can get a smile, and laugh, then you are on the right track!! Just chat with ANY woman, and try to get your comfort with talking to them!
Most don't bite! Much! LOL!!!
Women want to FEEL COMFORTABLE with you!! When you casually approach them, not expecting anything, and just talk with them, introduce yourself, and then make them laugh, you have their attention!
SOOOOO many creeps out there, and they are always unsure and concerned! They need to feel safe, comfortable, and trust you!!

@MrSpine YES!! Practice, with ones you aren't interested in, and get comfortable with talking with women, and making them laugh, and like you!! It is easier, when you are not interested in them, and helps you learn your sense of humor, and what makes them laugh!!

Also if you are in the checkout line like at the grocery store. The cashier (if it’s a girl) is right in front of you so no need to approach her. But you can smile and have a quick one minute conversation.

Just do it (wait, is that nike?). Confidence is key and it comes from experience. My advice is approach as many as you can. You are going to be rejected because everyone gets rejected. But the more you try the easier it gets over time. If you need a goal, then approach 100 women by 2021. I guarantee the 100th time will feel more comfortable than the first time.

Bonus tip, no games or expectations. Don’t go to her wanting her number. Women smell a game a mile away. Just say hi and have a conversation (~5 min) and start to walk away. If you enjoyed it, you will want to talk again to her.

Women are not an alien species. You don't have to do anything special, just say hello and see if she's interested in talking to you. DO NOT ask a woman for a date 15 seconds after you see her. That's just creepy. When you are greeting a couple of dozen women by name when you see them then dating will seem easy.

Approach if you find them interesting. Do not waste your time trying to decide whether they are giving you sigbs of interest. Another guy will go talk to them while you're still trying to read the tea leaves.
