Am I being ghosted?

Me and this guy had been talking consistently for about 3 weeks. He’s really affectionate with me and stuff, told me he misses me a few days ago, likes all of my stories, is really flirty. We’ve hung out twice and we’ve hooked up. I’ve stayed at his place too and he’s cooked for me and stuff. There’s def been some red flags though, like I felt his energy sort of shift especially with how much he was texting me. He also stopped making plans with me. Anyways, yesterday at around 5:30 pm we were texting and I threw in a little flirty “when are we gonna see each other again :(“ and he stopped replying and then went and started posting things on his story. I honestly thought he was ghosting me so I went ahead and blocked him on instagram. It’s 10 pm the next day and he still never replied to my text. I’m wondering if I did the wrong thing, or am I valid in having done what I did since it’s valid to assume he was ghosting me?

Don’t even waste your time. The last guy I was seeing, things ended the exact same way.
All flirty, he’d reply fast, always so keen to see me, once we slept together a few times he became dry, would take 18+ hours to reply to me and when he would, he’d tell me he’s just been extremely busy- yeah busy talking to another woman! (It wasn’t confirmed but girl you just know when a guy is playing around)
I was sick of his lame ass so I told him I was done, I didn’t reply to his last text, he never messaged again and the every same week I saw him at the gym with a girl, all over each other. (This was over instagram too but I didn’t block him)


This guy in your instance is a LOSER. Not even worth your time running after or nothing.


The guy in my instance, since I didn’t block him, he stalked me a few times and then reached out to me saying he was hesitant to reach out, he missed me and wanted to see me again and I went with telling him that next time he should hesitate and then just not text and I told him to leave me alone along with telling him how disgusting he is. He never texted back again.


Guys like this are only after fun, nothing serious even though they’ll do a few things that are really nice but it’s to just keep us around.

You might have overreacted a little, or he might really have been ghosting you. Either way, I think it’s safe to say he’s done now that he realizes you blocked him.

Most communication is non verbal, and cannot be conveyed effectively trough texting.

Specially if the topic is emotionally charged. People tend to overthink too much.

Keep texting for practical stuff, like getting together.
