Am I being ghosted?

Been seeing someone for 5 months. Our last date was really great and seemed like we were really connecting. I had been out of town and told him I missed hanging out with him while I was gone. He said he was glad I was back. After the date, he texted me about something related to what we were doing on the date, and we had a little back and forth. Later that night, I texted that I had a good time with him and hoped work was going well. Three days passed and I didn’t hear anything from him and he stopped watching my stories. So I texted and asked how his weekend was. No response. Once a week passed since I last heard from him, I texted and told him I missed talking to him and asked what was going on. It’s been another week and no response and still not watching my stories except for one day. He’s still friends with me on social media though? He used to watch all my stories, and we talked basically every day for 5 months. Wtf happened? I’ve heard of guys ghosting and then still watching stories but he hasn’t even been doing that. I think I should do anything at this point. But I’m just trying to understand when things seemed to be going so well!

Thanks! My biggest fear is being disrespected. He has been so good at communicating and setting expectations. It feels so out of character for him. So I hoped that since he left me on social media that he wasn’t going to completely disappear forever.

I also worry if it’s just a temporary thing and he does reach out, it’ll happen again cause I forgave it the first time.

But you’re right, I have been giving space and don’t plan to reach out to him again. Thank you!
