Guys, do you make a woman pay for a date even when she said she's broke?

As in like 20 bucks to her name for rest of the week because her money goes towards bills and groceries.

MAKE her? I've never been with a guy who has accepted money from me on a date. Even most of the time I'm with a guy friend he gets all annoyed if I offer to pay.

By contrast, for some reason when I'm out with the gals there's always some deadbeat girl in the group who waits everyone else out or excuses herself to go to the restroom while the rest of us try to figure out the bill, which makes NO SENSE because we're all here as friends.

If you're going out, be sure NOT TO SPEND MORE THAN WHAT YOU CAN PAY on your own. Prince Charming and Mama Moneybags won't always be at your disposal.

If there's a week I can't afford to go out... I DON'T GO OUT. So simple.

well number one i would not date someone who is broke not because i am being rude or trying to make her feel bad but simply because in a marrige if something happens to me she needs to be able to at the least find a job on her own if not have one and number two makeing her pay is just downright cruel but please do not take this as me saying i dislike broke people but rather something i consider when i have a partner as relationships are based in a personal realm but also are you fit to support a family muchless able to sustain it long term

Never. If I ask her out and choose the place, which will often be someplace where the minimum plate is more than double what she "has to her name" in your question, I would not expect her to pay, first because I asked but more importantly because I would not want to blow up her budget for the week or month.

A date doesn't have to be spending money. You can go on a walk, sit and talk in the car, make some food at home and go on a picnic, etc.

When I asked a girl on a date, I always paid. I didn't even think about it. If I didn't have much money, I planned something that I could afford.

If I dated a woman it meant that she was pretty, I liked her and wanted to get to know her. I was looking to get into a committed relationship, not that I was looking for a wife.

I didn't treat women like shit because of resentment toward "feminism". I acted like a gentleman and treated them like a lady.

I never dated a gold digger who wanted me to support them or give them free shit. But I didn't see a date as giving them free shit. I didn't even expect anything in return aside from her company and, hopefully, a budding relationship that would lead to her desire for sex.

I know that because im currently in a financial crisis of my own (finally on the mend but not there yet)
And the last thing I can think of doing right now is going out on a date.

That should be worked out BEFORE you go on the date. You should tell him that you don't currently have enough to get dinner and suggest something free to do instead (like a walk or a hike). That way he knows and, if he wants to, could offer to pay for you.

If you don't have any money, you shouldn't agree to go on dates. It's kind of a no brainier. If a female friend of your asked you if you want to travel to Europe with her, would you be like wow that sounds great let's go and then expect her to pay for your plane ticket, hotel rooms, restaurant bills, souvenirs, etc. or would you be like I wish, but I don't have the money for that at the moment. Have fun without me. So why is it different when it comes to men?
