Young Straight Men: Do you still pay for a woman if you go out on a date with her?

I already know old men still do this commonly.

Do you pay for a woman's meal and stuff on a date? Are you the type to pay for her dinner, meals, drinks, cab fare, etc, if you're dating her?

Pretend like the date was mutually agreed upon. As if, she insisted you ask her out, and you two mutually agreed upon an inexpensive restaurant.

Honestly, I think it's pathetic and on some major cuck sh*t to still be paying for women in the 2020s UNLESS she was already a close friend and you know she's not going to be taking advantage of you. Some guys try to say "It's cause I'm a gentleman," but you can also be a gentleman without being a sucker who gets scammed by women you barely even know. I think it's antiquated and foolish nowadays, especially since many women will treat you like a business transaction and say Red Flag sh*t like "don't waste my time" as if only HER time is valuable or matters.

So I've always believed that a quality woman wouldn't treat you like a business transaction and that any hoes out there worth avoiding are the only ones who still expect men to "whine and dine" her, while she makes as much money as you do, if not more. It's total Red Flag sh*t and simp sh*t to have a grown woman expect you to pay for her in the 2020s.

If I ask a girl out then I am always prepared to pay, but I expect her to offer to pay her share and, if she does, I will let her.

There is literally no valid reason why a guy should still be expected to pay for a first date in 2022. The tired old excuse that "whoever asks the other person out should pay" is bullshit because it is always the guy who does the asking (which also needs to change), which is obviously very convenient for women. Guys are the ones who have to risk rejection by asking a girl out, and the thanks they get for that is having to pay for both. It is objectively ridiculous.

The way a girl handles the payment situation on a first date is a clear indication of her character. If she doesn't offer to pay her share, it tells me she has some fucked up views on gender equality. If she does offer to pay and I let her, and then she judges me for it and won't go on a second date (which is something MANY women do), she has done me a huge favor by showing her true colors right up front and saving me the time and effort of having to uncover her character issues later.

Women have been preaching gender equality for a very long time, but many are still not genuinely interested in it because they cling very tightly to the traditional gender roles that benefit them.

Who are Chad and Tyrone? I pay because I like her. To try and keep someone I don't know from taking advantage of that though, I usually talk before and during the date as if we will be splitting the bill. If she objects or tries to guilt me into paying for everything then I go through with it and we split the bill. If she is fine with that and doesn't pressure me during the date then I will offer to pay for her when the bill comes (they don't always accept). This has helped rule out women who were upset I wouldn't pay for everything and women who were offended I was willing to pay for everything.

I’m a traditionalist of course I pay for women even if I’m not dating her. I briefly dated a black young woman in college she expected she was going to pay for her ticket and popcorn and drinks I suppressed her by paying for everything. I’m on a date I’m interested in this girl of course ima pay for her especially since I’m conservatives. A few weeks later politics was bright up and I broke them with her not because of the color is skin but because of what she believed. Back when I was single I paid if I invited her out, but usually it ended up a good chunk of the time with splitting or her paying for it. My rule of thumb is whoever asks out the other is the one who buys first round or pays for food, etc.

So I always pay for the first date. Then it varies, but I usually pay. Probably about 60-40 in subsequent dates. I believe that once you become a couple, the guy shouldn't pay for everything. He should always be able to pay, but not expected to pay for everything.

Of course. I don't quibble over whether it's right or not. Whether it's the modern" way to do things or not. There's enough going on to contend with already I don't want to be thinking about who's paying or what it means lol. I'd rather just pay it and move on to something more relevant.

Look I'll concede there are a lot of atrocious women out there. But that doesn't make them ALL trash. And I'm a very thrifty guy. Any woman who thinks she's going to use me financially is in for a rude awakening lol. My paying for the date is nothing more than me wanting to have a good night. If she thinks she's using me to get a free meal then she missed out and did me favor actually and I'm fine with that.

It's not simping. If you ask her out, you should be willing to take on the cost of the date. And you're competing with other guys, so it doesn't hurt to signal that you can pick up the cost of a date.

by the way, younger women do like it when guys pay for the date. Older women expect it.

You confuse being simping with being cheap. And you can filter out the women who aren't classy so you don't pay for them. But now that I think about it, out of the last dozen or so dates I went on, I only paid for six women's meals, and it came to about $25-30 or so.
