I'm short and so is she, but I happen to be so short that I'm shorter than her, I found out that she likes me anyway from her friend. We've been out on dates and she told me that I'm her boyfriend now.

Maybe not normal but that's only because most women have a hangup about a man being taller than them. But there's certainly nothing wrong with it. Your friend doesn't seem to have that hangup. Get on with dating her!
