So earlier today I was sitting outside talking to my sister and how I’m never going to find the right guy. Also how my crush (let’s call him Devin) lied to me about having to work when he is going out with another girl.
And my guy friend (Let’s call him Eddy) recorded it when his best friend and him were out. He sent it to me and I was crush.
My sister said, “You should call him up. Go see him.”
I was like, “Um hello? Did you not hear the part that Devin lied to me? He didn’t even really care about me. Hot guys are jerks to me…
Like my ex wasn’t even my real boyfriend.”
My sister said, “No I’m not talking about Devin. I’m talking about EDDY.”
I rolled my eyes said, “For the last time, we are just Fri-“
My sister got fed up and said, “You know what! No! Just stop it. Okay? Enough! I’m not going to sit here and let you be blind about this for the rest of your life. JUST LISTEN! Just open your eyes and realize that Eddy has been loved you. He’s always be there for you. He’s had a crush on you for years. He’s asked you to prom four times, Valentine’s Day, EVERY school dance, even after high school he’s asked you out but you keep turning him down for these losers that treat you so bad! Eddy never abandoned you at prom, he stood by your side when your crush ditched you at senior prom. When he had a girlfriend, YOU got jealous. I don’t wanna hear that you didn’t because your face said it all! I’m so sick of you complaining that there’s no good men when they’re a been one right in front of you the whole time! Number one you shouldn’t waste someone’s time not only for your sake but his as well who you’re not interested in and let him find someone whose into him.

Sure try a date or two but if you’re not feeling it don’t pursue it. Maybe even help set him up with someone else.

Yeah you’re right, Eddy deserves to be with someone that is interested in him. My sister said it’s up to me but if Eddy moves on, don’t get upset about it and I can’t get mad because I’ll only have myself or blame.

My mom said, “Sometimes you need someone wiser to tell you who’s the right person for you. I guess I’m stuck with Eddy. No other man wants me anyways. My best friend said they can’t make me go out with him but I should at least give him a chance.
