Yeah, I would say so. A lot of people will tell me I have great skin or a great look or whatever... but actually if you look closely there's nothing particularly remarkable about me (in my opinion). I just give a shit about the people around me so when I'm talking to them I'm animated and engaged, making them laugh... and when the person observing me feels good he/she remembers that feeling and it makes him/her notice other things like my style, or looks or whatever.
So while the initial thing that caused the person to approach me was physical, it wasn't 100% physical, it was something about my personality manifesting itself in my posture or gestures or tone that appealed to him/her.
I find the same happens to me -- who I find appealing/attractive as well as who I choose to avoid.
I Will tend to say yes because people that are ugly were most likely bullied or mistreated / saw the bad side of people / the World early on and thus can become angry or bitter.
but some attractive people can be bad if the country they live in value beauty over anything else, they can become entilted and arrogant.
Attractive guys could’ve been an outcast and bullied, especially if grew in a small community. Jealousy, family fued/family name.
Just the other day, we were watching the Tyson fight with the stupid kid, I told my brother-in-law it was a joke, he was trying to impress some client of his, he mentioned on another fight something about imagine that guy at parties I’ll get some guy out that talks shit, I said something like it won’t make you any friends being like that, it just makes people afraid of you.
I was like that, got bullied because of my family name and judged before I could really develop a personality, I got jumped until I could beat them up. Still didn’t make any friends doing that., by that time I didn’t have a personality.
Jesus, speech to text is a no go

No not at all. You have to remember personalities come from the inside.. genetics control the outside and just because we look a certain way doesn't mean that we are that way.. just because you look good on the outside does not mean that you are good on the inside
The reason for never judge a book by its cover
And just because we see something doesn't mean that's how it truly is. It's to make us think it's to make us look deeper..
. It's like getting a facelift just because we get a facelift we look better doesn't mean that we are actually better on the inside it's usually false. . .
Most things in life is just an illusion to pull us in to make us think
No, generally speaking, people with good personalities do not inherently "look better" than people with bad personalities; however, due to a psychological phenomenon called the "halo effect," people often perceive someone with a positive personality as more attractive, meaning their positive personality traits can influence how their appearance is judged by others, making them seem more appealing physically as well.
Key points to remember:
Perception is key:
While someone's physical appearance is objective, how attractive we perceive them to be can be heavily influenced by their personality and behavior.
"Halo effect":
This psychological bias means that positive traits like kindness or humor can make someone seem more attractive even if their physical features are considered average.
Not a direct correlation:
A person's personality is not directly linked to their physical appearance, and there are plenty of people with great personalities who may not be considered traditionally attractive.
Brother... chatgpt is written all over this
Usually, but exceptions exist. The primary culprit is that most people become less sane the more physically damaged they are, because physical damage effects your ability to think, focus, tolerate, comprehend, etc. and those things are the foundation for good behavior.
Damaged people are also more likely to be sad or angry, both because of how illnesses physical feel or make them struggle, and because of insecurities or how others treat them. Many people will act poorly from a moral perspective under those conditions, its best to not be too hard on them.
Some people are just kind hearted and joyful no matter what they are going through, bit its rare, and you could argue that those people have better personalities, but even they have a breaking point (its just higher than most).
More offten than not, an unhealthy looking person is a miserable person, and we all know how misery often gets redirected onto others.
no. actually the opposite is true. in psychology there's 2 effects that cause this.
1. is the "halo" effect. in a nutshell this means positive traits bleed over into other areas in the perception of people. so when someone looks good, people will percieve them as a better person than they are cause the positive aspect of "looking good" bleeds over.
2. is that because of the halo effect, good looking people have to do less good than ugly people to be percieved as "good people". so their efforts to actually be good people will end up being lower on average in comparison.
I don't want to believe that but the reason why I only dated hot looking women 99% of my life was that the one time I broke that rule she turned out to have the absolute worse personality of any woman I ever knew so then I said never again. Ha.
And by hot I mean like 7 or 8 and up. Don't have to be a 10.
That’s not always the case, Guys still could’ve been outcast Where they grew up Due to a family name in the community. Therefore, being judged before you can even fully develop your own personality, will have negative ramifications on how you develop that personality.
for women? I think we all know that a hot chick doesn’t = good personality. I think its more of a presumption that attractive tall well built-fit men usually have a decent personality though. Which is also not an accurate stereotype.
This is a tough question to answer because it's so subjective. What's a good personality? And what's better looking?
However, from my own subjective point of view if anything I think there is a negative correlation between a "good" personality and "good" looks rather than a positive one.
People who are generally viewed as less attractive often develop their personalities more in order to be able to attract social attention. People who are generally considered good looking often don't try as hard to impress with personality.
So if I had to generalize in this very subjective region, I would say that better personalities are more likely to be associated with people who are considered less physically attractive.
Sometimes there are pretty people with awful personalities. I've met a few.
But a good disposition and personality make anyone a better choice for a friend or any other type of associate.
I truly believe that what lies within shows on the outside.
Sure 😁😊 someone who doesn't smile is instantly sus 😳
Yes, if a person is a miserable sour puss eventually it will manifest itself on the outside.
Oh for sure. The whole aura and energy they bring with them, you associate that with them.
Smiles tend to be more inviting than scowls.
I'm attracted to people who are good people which in return usually means they have a great personality.
I'd say so
