I wouldn't use the word desperate. Desperate suggests that guys will accept anything. This is not the case. But men do know that they are not able to be as picky as women are. Just guys are forced to be less discerning.

Personally I am not desperate for a girlfriend. Ironically everyone else labels me as being desperate for a girlfriend. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Maybe most other men are because our gynocentric society expects them to be since society expects men to be the ones to ask women out while women just sit around and play whose the oppressor
