I’ve been seeing this guy for about a month now. We went on a bunch of dates and both had a really good time and he told me he really likes me. He left to Europe about 3 days ago and before he left we had sex I usually don’t have sex with people that I’m not with but I left like we had a connection and I just wanted too. He told me he’s body count is over 100 so he’s a slut but said that when he likes someone he’s loyal. Before when he was here he was texting me all the time and wanted to see me all the time. But now that he’s gone he doesn’t really text me or communicate with me very often. There’s a 7 hour time difference also which is a factor but I feel like he can put an effort to text me. I texted him how is his vacation so far and he took 5 hours to answer he said that’s it’s really beautiful and that he misses me and asked me how it Is back home. I haven’t answered yet should I also make him wait long and say something like cool!! I’m happy ur having fun. Looking forward to u coming back lol. And do you guys think he is just stringing me along. He’s back in 2 weeks. What should I do and what do you guys think he’s feeling does he actually like me or does he just want to string me along. Also I’m 21 and he’s 24 turning 25 in a month

I can understand you are feeling very vulnerable right now because you shared such an intimate time with each other and then bam! He's in another continent.
But let him tell you how he will treat you, dont think of reasons why he isn't texting you. Think of reasons why he might be busy.
Also... a slut doesn't put in a lot of effort like multiple dates just to string someone along. At least I don't think. Unless they are really lonely and bored. How did he come off while you hung out? Needy and always free? Or had to give you a set time and sometimes tell you 'oh got something on that day, let's do this day"

Honestly, you could be all in your head thinking he's stringing you along and overthink till exhausted. Or just see how things play out

I think if he's planning in advance - that shows effort most guys wouldn't put in for random girls.

Hey, if its authentic to you to share parts of your day even if he's busy and vacationing... feel free to do so! I'm sure he'd like to read them.
But dont expect anything answer right away... like you said. It's early in the relationship and he's away on vacation. Put yourself in his shoes and if you were away and spending money on a trip, wouldn't you want to experience it to the fullest and then come back and share all the crazy stories?

Just remember, we have access to each other 24/7 now but that didn't used to be the case 1-2 generations ago. So try to keep busy and do something so that you aren't always fighting the urge to text him

Well he is going on vacation. He's going to be super busy every day enjoying the sites, meeting new people and based on what you said, probably doing new people. So if you text him, I would give him a couple days to reply back. Don't take it personally. He told you who he was but at the same time I wouldn't get attached. He himself can't commit so why should you? Find someone else who sees you more than a number

I'd stop texting him. Some of these guys love attention and will say anything to keep you around hungry for more. Give him a chance to miss you. If he does text you back within a week of him coming back, ditch him.
