What does this really mean?

I’ve known a man for two months, but I started dating him last weekend. We talk frequently and will be ready to commit by next month. He said he loves me, threw it in casually at the end of the conversation tonight. What does this mean? Can someone fall in love that quickly? How should I take it?

Often times people say it as a reflex when they feel their joy slipping over -- kind of like when the doctor taps the spot in your knee that makes the knee "bounce" a little. He may not have been able to help himself.

Yeah, he went from wanting to wait 6 months to wanting to sleep together in 2 months. He’s gone from really liking to loving me and he’s still on dating apps, looking to date people. Which I guess is okay, since we aren’t exclusive yet.
