Same thing happen to me I was beat as a kid. He was my step dad.

My mom and him Divorced but he died to way to soon. Because I wanted to teach him how to raise a child with out beating or hitting
With out even raising my voice but he die before I had the chance to teach him

But it's OK. I proved it to myself and that's all that matters

Could be. Never know, I will say I do have a co worker who’s mom died in her sleep out of no where a week after he cheated on his daughter’s mother.
