Is it possible to text someone And forget to press send? Especially if it’s someone that says they really like you?

It's certainly possible. I've done it a few times. But... it was like, to my brother or co-worker. Not a big deal. It's pure chance that it happened in not important conversations. I was legitimately unaware I hadn't hit send. But this is like 3 or 4 times ever. So it is possible (terrible luck it happened to him in a situation that mattered)

But... I agree. It's highly unlikely and fishy as hell. I wouldn't necessarily conclude anything from it on it's own (maybe it was a lightning-strike situation. Unlikely, but it happens).

If he's been sketchy, shitty etc in other ways, then sure... draw some conclusions. Otherwise... I'd call this a definite "strike one"... and keep my guard up.

Don’t get me wrong. I feel like a hypocrite because I have done it too, but if it’s someone, I really like, I usually make sure the message gets sent.

I hear you. Twice is fishy as hell. After it happening the first time he would make sure it didn't happen again. After all, who would believe it was an accident twice.

It's this more than how much he likes you that is the kicker to make this fishy.

What's your history with this guy? How long, what kind of guy is he?, other complaints? all that good stuff.

We’ve been having a thing for six months where we talked to every single day not a day went by that we haven’t talked. He has always been the one to pursue me every single day with good morning text and calls. He literally initiates everything I do to sometimes or I try to because I have this whole insecurity that if he doesn’t reply, then he’s talking to someone else. It’s 2025 I mean who’s not on their phone.

Can happen to the best of us, it literally happened to me the other day with my mom, I was supposed to text her to get ready because I will be at her house to pick her up and have a nice dinner , Mother Daughter date... Only to get there and see that woman in her Pijamas yelling at me "WHY DIDN'T YOU TEXT ME " and me answering " WOMAN I ACTUALLY DID CHECK YOUR PHONE" so we both checked our phones, she never got the text, and my text was just there waiting for me... .
