Me and my friend realized we like the same guy. She specifically showed me an instance in which he flirted with her over text once but then pulled away shortly afterwards. He did somewhat of the same thing with me, hugging me for several days in person and then pulling away.

I asked him out one day and he said that he just wanted to be friends but continued flirting afterwards. Then I told my friend about it and that’s when she realized (although she hasn’t had any instances with him since).
