OK, let me show you a picture that you don't see every day and tell me what is so romantic about it.

Paris slums

No, this is not some place in a tier one city in India but the sad reality of one of the slums of Paris.

I don't know about you but this view does not really entice me to want to give a kiss to anyone. The risk to get yourself some nasty pathogen is unfortunately present. Paris is not just the Eiffel Tower, the Moulin Rouge or the Champs Élysées.

If I had to chose, then I would chose the tent as this is (usually) more private than to be under the scrutiny of hundreds of people.

But tent are full of mosquitos lately since it's getting hot and wet (where I live anyway) so it's not gonna be much romantic.

Kissing in Paris by night in a calm area without much people is gonna be more romantic in my opinion.

Well to be fair I actually prefer being in nature, walking around, etc... but nowadays there's too many mosquitoes for doing it (especially when it's late / night time), if I want to go out where I live I need a full body armor to defend myself against the mosquitoes xD

I'm a countryside girl, I don't like the cities but mosquitoes are awful

You and me both. If there's any species I could wipe off the face of the planet, it's mosquitoes and ticks. Apparently Iceland is the only country in the world with no mosquitoes. I'm considering moving there in the future just for that fact alone.

Ticks are awful too, my sister when she was a child got a ticks in her hair (she was so tiny she was at the same level as the herbs becuase the herbs weren't cut, my parents spend at least 1 hours trying to kill it), and same my dog even with protection got tons of them it was horrible.

I'm surprised by this fact but it's a good one, I would say the most romantic would be kissing in a tent in Iceland xD

Having been to Paris a few times it's no different to most metropolitan cities. If you want to much nicer city to do it in, there's Naples, Barcelona, Vilnius, and Prague all of which are cooler and cleaner than Paris
