Why would a girl kiss a guy multiple times on the cheek?

we talked for an hour and i lost count of the times she did it.

I can't speak for ALL men or women, but there was a guy I was chatting up back in August (almost a year ago) who I thought was funny bc we would talk and talk then get to the point of saying goodbye and do the European kiss on both cheeks, then stall and talk and talk and he'd lean in to do the kiss on the cheeks again... at least two more times till I laughed and shoved him away.
