I’m scared to talk to girls, what can I do?

I’m too scared to go up and talk to a pretty girl. I also think it’s a bit of a wrong thing to do, approach random girls. I tend to go to work and weekends recover at home as I work hard. I don’t know where to meet girls.

I’m not sure what to do. With my friends we only tend to play badminton.

Also what if she’s taken. Isn’t that awkward?

Why are you afraid to talk to women? Are you afraid to talk to a random guy too? I'm betting that isn't so stressful for you. You don't want anything from the guy. You're just commenting on the weather or a sports event or cars, etc.

So approach women like that. Just say hi to someone seated or standing next to you in a bar. Comment on the food or her drink. Ask her for recommendations from the menu. Ask her if she knows any other good places to hang out in the area. The goal isn't to "get the girl", ger her number, or get laid. The goal is to meet people and maybe make a new friend. Let her get comfortable seeing you interact with a range of people like a normal human being.

Don't overstay your welcome. If she's fidgeting, thank her for the conversation and turn back to your drink, your phone, or your friends. If one of you leave, make sure you demonstrate good manners and make an effort to say "goodbye, nice talking to you, thanks for the tips, I'll check out the place you mentioned.

It really is that simple dude. It's not rejection or failure if you don't get her number or she tells you she's already seeing someone. It was an opportunity to learn how to interact in a social situation. You'll get better over time. So just get out there and fail often. it's a numbers game. Sooner or later you'll come across a woman who will let you know she's interested. Meanwhile you're having a good time and learning.

Believe it or not, charge right into the line of fire. If you take enough rejection you'll eventually get to the point where you don't care whether she says yes or no.

I don't have a hard time asking women out from the standpoint of rejection. I have a hard time asking them out from the realization that none of them will ever love me except in a very self absorb twisted sort of way.

When you get to that point dating is just kind of a game that you realize you don't even want to play anymore.

If you're too scared then you aren't ready for a relationship. This goes for both genders, if you're too scared to put yourself out there then you aren't ready. Being in a relationship means being vulnerable and also opening yourself up with the possibility of getting hurt.
