Why are my dates assuming I’m cheating on them?

I’ve been slowly getting back into dating after having been off the market for years and I had a few dates here and there well spaced apart. I take a minute to even pick out the person I want to speak to and usually entertain just one guy at a time. I wouldn’t be seeing multiple people at once, never mind sleeping with multiple people at once. I prefer it 1:1 where I test run the potential relationship with the one person I picked out and only if it doesn’t work then I move on. Anyway, so from the 4 dates I had since a year ago all but one has accused me of being a cheater/assumed I am entertaining many men. I feel like it isn’t anything I’m actively doing or at least I don’t think so. I have a busy schedule so sometimes I can’t do the date on demand but will push a day or so and that alone had some guys telling me to ‘enjoy yourself whatever it is you are doing, doubt it is truly work but hope you enjoy it haha!’. Like what? Had another dude asking me if I have no display photo on because I’m hiding it from him? Another assumed I had a pillow fall behind my bed and wall as I used it to stop the bed from hitting the wall because I was sleeping with someone before he came over. Like I’m so baffled. I don’t remember experiencing this when I was younger. Is anyone else seeing this?

People who accuse people of cheating without evidence many times are projecting their own guilt on you. As for people who feel no remorse and guilt they are projecting…. They want to make you the cheater. So if you ever find out it’s because well you cheated on me even if you never did as well as to slander you if you ever say anything.

Now the thing is if you legitimately cheated and they caught on you’re just a bad cheater but giving you the benefit of the doubt I think they are either insecure, cheaters, or both…

But there is also entitlement to some people. Obviously if someone’s interested they will make a effort but you can’t expect someone’s entire life to revolve around you especially if you first met. That’s how narcissists think that the entire world is about them and everyone even if they hardly know you must absolutely drop everything at the drop of a hat.

Also you may not have noticed things when you’re younger because if you’re dating men they same age as you or older… They been through a lot more stuff so they may be more paranoid if they been cheated on before…. Or on the other hand have cheated before and know the behaviors they displayed. If you’re dating younger men well that too… Cheating is more prevalent now then it used to be.

You are allowed to have a life outside of someone you just met. If someone wants to jump to the wrong conclusions too fast don’t waste your time. Wish those men well but don’t invest in them. There is many reasons why people do this.

Girls that wear a lot of makeup and are bougie in the way they dress and what they expect on dates tend to be more superficial and materialistic, not really caring about connecting, but rather caring about what the man can add to their lives.

It's not just that. You'd have to also be a pretty physically attractive girl to give them the impression that there's no way you'd settle for them.

So it's a mix of the vibe you give off and your beauty that make the guys you interact with insecure.

Oh my… that could be it. Now that you say that, one of the guys literally said ‘a pretty girl like you needs grounding’. Another said something along the lines of me being someone who had things handed to her. I just assumed they were negging but I don't know maybe I come across a certain way.

Well I’m not like that at all, I do think a person should take care of themselves in how they dress etc. but that’s on the individual. Really sad they can’t see past that. This also explains why they won’t shut up about their job, I kept asking about their life but they just keep talking about money and work. lol.
