Do people date and fall in love with their co workers because they don’t have a life, community or many people they know outside of work?

Thus is true. And then it's Convenient, but I will tell you this. It's not a good idea to do because everything might be great for a few months. But then something always happens.2 people get angry start. Arguing , break up and one person always gets fired

Some jobs frown against it unfortunately because it doesn’t end well, but sometimes it does work out and I’ve also heard that one of them has to quit the job for the other one to stay so I guess it can be risky at times or work out

We tend to like people more the more we're exposed to them. When you spend 8+ hours a day, 5 days a week with someone, a natural familiarity and comfort develop. It makes total sense that it happens occassionally.

That makes sense. Makes you understand why the loving husband of 15 years suddenly falls in love with his mistress co worker he sneaks off with and books hotels with lol. You see them more than your family/spouse.

If they are in professional positions, it's likely because they share values and interests, and are about equally intelligent.

I guess because it’s easier since they already see them all the time and know them, but it’s not a good place to have a relationship since if it doesn’t work and most, don’t you still have to see them every day

@Likes2drive I don't know. Two of my coworkers started dating at work. The girl was a new employee and the guy had been there for about a year. She wanted him. She got him. This was in January. They’re now engaged lol. All they do is talk about one another and tag one another in post on social media (I’m friends with the both of them.) so it doesn’t always end bad.
