He was first guy to give me more comitment , I never been able meet guy that sees me 2-4x a wk, clingy, let me sleep at his home, we almost were living together. And I’m almost 28 and wanted fast progress as I learned guys that progress slow r not serious and time wasters.

but he’s very picky , controlling. He don’t like anything. Complains of any single thing or person. His house began to feel lifeless and dull. Just telling me what to do in his house, even by gifting him something he don’t like it. He literally likes nothing.

At your age I don’t think you have much options. I think you realize that that’s why you’re trying to rush a relationship.
The funny thing is women say they want a manly man, but can’t handle the truth that manly men are far more different than all the men you’re used to who simp over you. Simps give into everything women want, manly men don’t, they stand their ground, they will even tell you no at times. But because you’re used to men who do whatever you want, getting the opposite of that makes you think he’s controlling when he’s just making boundaries. You haven’t given no examples of how he’s controlling or exactly how he is picky. Nor have you said one thing about what exactly he’s telling you to do in the house. Cook? Clean? Stop being a slob, pick up your stuff or throw away your trash.
If he was only seeing you twice a week you’d be complaining. If he didn’t let you stay over you’d be complaining. Possibly thinking he has a wife or girlfriend or something that’s why he doesn’t let you come over. He’s even considered clingy for wanting to spend a lot of time w you cause he likes you. ‘Men can never do a damn thing right. Women want a man to be responsible for finances, protection, loving her, potentially dying for her but can’t express his opinions or feelings. Makes sense lol but let’s just label him controlling. And no before you or any other woman thinks I’m some old, single, bitter man, I’m not. Haven’t been for the last 17 years.

Honestly... he sounds like quite a headache to me. Complaining of everything and everyone and doesn't show appreciation even when you make efforts for him like doing chores and gifting stuff? That will become exhausting for me to hear after a certain point, and I won't allow anyone especially my partner to control me. I don't think you should put up with that either.

You deserve someone better. Someone who admires you for and also appreciate your efforts. Someone who doesn't try to control you and often choose to feel lucky for what he has rather than complain about everything every moment.
