27 dating a 21 - is there too much gap?

I don't talk just about the number itself - 6 years aren't that much, but about life phases and experiences.

There's this girl who's interested in going out for drinks sometimes, and honestly I had half a mind about it because we share and ambientalist passion; but I had figured she was 25 or so, not that she was born in 2004 and just out of University (she thought I was 30 or so, go figure...).

I mean, I have established career (s), divorced, children, and all the experiences this entails; she's "green" as they come and probably doesn't even know how to file her taxes. I don't know, she seems really mature and struck me as very smart but I still feel there's quite the power imbalance.

Granted I didn’t try to date her but that wasn’t due to the age.
