Why would a guy get so many compliments about himself but never get to be a woman's boyfriend?

Not sure the two correlate. I mean, for example, let's say he gets a lot of compliments about his cooking. Does that mean he should be entitled to a girlfriend? Probably not. Could it possibly gain him interest? Maybe.

It really depends on the compliments he is receiving. Maybe it just makes him more suited for the friend zone rather than a boyfriend.

Personally I had compliments for my looks , the type of personality I have, and the humor that I bring.
Then I get women saying" oh you find someone who commit to you". "You have so many gd things most women want "
I'm not sure why they bring it up & why I don't have much luck?

Not sure tbh. I know humor and a caring nature do it for me. Everyone is different though.

Maybe you are all those things that they say. Maybe they are just being nice but unwilling to date you for another reason and want to let you down gently.

I'd say, if you haven't already expanded your search pool yet? Try new locations or maybe even online.

Yh I've been trying online but keep getting the same outcome.
But one of my closest female friends says that I should be targeting women abroad but don't kw where & how to do that. She stated that she would've done so if we were on the same path in life.

Oof sorry to hear that. And LDR are hard. I know from experience. If you do want to look abroad, then im sure there are online resources that can help with that. Im not in that boat so I dont know what they are, but im sure if you are motivated enough to try a relationship like that, then you'll find it in a Google search.

The people complimenting your are most likely people that know you. So they're going off of what they know about. You not getting a girlfriend has more to do with the way you look

They know you and others are being nice. Women who don't know you are going off your appearance. I'm saying they don't find you attractive. Outward appearance is most accurately depicted by a stranger not people you know or acquaintanted with that are simply just being nice. Strangers are more honest in this area

Then I would suggest asking your friend's opinions. People who witness your interactions with both people in general and woman. Ask for hard truths in what they witness in your behaviors. It might hurt but you can learn to correct what you are doing wrong.
