It's a good thing many guys don't like an easy life, and we started to prefer women who could think for themselves and be unique to us.00 Reply

How the system versus males, that women more likely to get child custody than men?
en.wikipedia.org/.../Men%27s_rights_movement - 11 mo
Hmm ok.. so let's expend this one 1. Define what is the system for you 2. considering that system you have in your mind , say your opinion how it affects Just the Male. 3 and now you can put it in a life time line historically increasing or descrising.. and consider the significant times and how males were affected by the system or patriarchy and 4. Think of examples when male were favoured by the 1. system, 2. Patriarchy but for to be used right after that

@berethor easy, they're seen as the primary care giver by society - which is the result of baambambam patriarchy and thus as the asker suggest: patriarchy is hurting men too.

@berethor
Yet again, blame patriarchy. And that depends on the country dear.

11 moit's not a "patriarchy" if men aren't who benefit. a patriarchy is the governing domination of men. if men aren't who profit from it, they're not the ones dominating.

i disagree with calling it "patriarchy". because the fact that most of the people dominating are men is just coincidence, not determining the outcomes of policies or government. if that was the case, then men would be the profiteurs. i would rather call it aristochraty or oligarchy, cause that's who benefits and yeah the majority of them happen to be men. correlation, not causation.
- 11 mo
i hope you can see why i disagree with calling it "patriarchy", cause i am a man and i sure find it quite unfair to be lumped in with these folks just cause i have a dick.
- 11 mo
the ones dominating are oligarchs or the wealthy few. the majority of them happen to be men but they're not exclusively men, neither historically nor currently.
- 11 mo
i think calling it patriarchy is feminazi nonsense. just like their claim that they're for equality. if you'd be for equality, you'd be an egalitarianist, not a feminist.

i would call these times "pre tertiarization time". cause really the shift towards more women in labor wasn't caused by everyone suddenly realizing after 2000+ years that the inequalities between women and men were somewhat unfair. they always were unfair and everyone knew that cause men were stronger than women and men didn't have periods that periodically reduced their work force. that's why the traditional male breadwinner model existed. out of pure economic logic, not out of a male desire to oppress women (which in my view is a narrative that the "patriarchy" theory is trying to establish to antagonize men and create unneccessary sexist divide in the population).
it is only since the tertiarization of the industries that it is even possible to have a labour market in which women can actually compete with men or even outperform men. cause in the tertiary branch of the industry, physical strength doesn't matter so that's why women entered the workforce. not pecause of sudden moral paradigm shift.
and of course you'll historically see forces that opposed that shift cause generally people don't like change and that reflects in social pressures as well. it wasn't really that generally speaking "men didn't want women to work and actively oppressed them by conspiring to prevent them from having work". that's the common feminazi narrative that's simply not true.
- 11 mo
the traditinal social structure that existed before tertialization of the industry was formed by necessity and mere biological differences and was generally preferred not just by men but also by women. it was not result of unfair oppression even tho in some cases there certainly may have been some cases of actual unfair oppression. but that's not the main mechanism.
in case you don't know: tertialization is a overarching industrial trend away from traditional production of raw goods (primary industry sector) and the processing of raw goods (secondary industry sector which was the dominant sector during the industrialization), towards more common provision of services.
and you see that this is true by looking at the sectors. in the primary and secondary sectors, men still overwhelmingly dominate all industries even today. yes there's a few odd ones out and there's nothing wrong with that but women only really work in the tertiary sector cause that's where biological differences matter the least.

11 moYou want this wrong remark about Patriarchy be treated as a truth.
In fact Patriarchy is a concept of the Bible, i. e. a concept of God. If you oppose to it you are against God and have no legitimate reason for speak about that topic.02 Reply- 11 mo
