Yes they do
No they don't

That's a very good observation!
Especially when they try to lock down the top 10% of men (and fail to do so or end up sharing him).
Or have men do everything in dating.
Some girls be acting like strong and independent... only to fall to the knees to a powerful/influental man, that tells her what to do.
lmao
No one really dominates a relationship, unless they are a bit of an arsehole. It’s a joint thing, both respect each other. It’s a fairly simple concept this thing about both having similar needs and requirements. Maybe guys who just want another version of their mum go down this route.
You make it sound like marriage is an ownership. Or did you word this Q poorly?
its not that deep
also lot of things changed
For the worse, clearly. But women can’t see that
@SolitarySolace for the worse yes
its been going downhill
Yet some still do it
@SolitarySolace n they will keep doing it
Sucks to be them
@SolitarySolace agree
they make me feel sick n disgusted
Aiming to stir the pot of love and understanding, here we go! The tango of relationships is a complex dance of give and take, lead and follow. It's true, some women (and men, let's not forget) may lean into traditional roles, but to pin it all on one gender is like blaming a single spice for the flavor of a stew. It's all about the recipe created together. Feminism and equality have invited us to rewrite these recipes, bringing in a dash of dominance here, a sprinkle of submission there, all based on personal tastes rather than societal recipes. The key ingredient? Communication, my love. When both partners have a say in the dance steps, the dance becomes a true reflection of their unique rhythm. Let's keep cooking up these deliciously complex relationships with a base of mutual respect and understanding.

They absolutely do help perpetuate it. If a woman believes she can marry a man and he won't ever cheat on her, she's dreaming about a small percentage of men and hoping she's marrying one of them. If she's not going to take charge and put him in chastity to control his sex life, she's just gambling and she's going to lose. Control the cock, control the man, ladies. When are you going to accept that and stop complaining you're being cheated on and that most men are dogs? You should know that before you agree to live with one or have kids with one. Get out of your dream romance world.
WTF even IS "patriarchy?" So far as I can tell, it's a mostly nonsense concept that starts with the (asinine) presumption that men all act together as one "team" and women all act together as another "team" and that for some reason these teams are working against each other. And when you start with a presumption THAT stupid, you aren't going to get anywhere meaningful.
Some women are submissive, but many fewer than in my boyhood and young manhood.
@handsomelad70 What does that have to do with anything? Did you mean to put this comment somewhere else?
That's akin to if it were 1964 and white Southerners said "What is segregation?" when they banned us from all "white" spheres of existence.
Are you seriously ignoring what patriarchy is? Well, that's one of the characteristics of it, dude, denying it's existence. Men believing and practicing keepin' their women dumb, barefoot in the kitchen and pumpin' out babies is a good place to start. Patriarchy is the idea that women shouldn't have the right to vote - they're had to be a freaking AMENDMENT to the US Constitution for that to happen, about 150 years after becoming the USA. It's the idea that a woman couldn't have a mortgage or credit card in her own name until 1974, in the USA. It's the act of women just getting the "privilege" to drive a car in some countries only a few years ago. It's the idea that a woman must cover themselves in sacks while in public in some countries because any showing of skin means "rape me". Those are only the obvious ones.
And when you start by denying something so obvious, hmm, you don't get anywhere meaningful and perpetuating the whole thing - which is of course, what you wanted in the first place.
Allowing for all of those things are going to change the United States drastically. A lot of people do not want to see promescuity and misandry become law of the land. Curfews and ankle monitors for all men. That's what will come in a country where women have all the rights and benefits
@SolitarySolace Yeah, I see what you mean. Allowing women to VOTE and drive cars and not have to cover every ounce of skin, or own a credit card in their name because they earn enough money to support themselves, will obviously lead to whoredom and enslaving men.
Women don't want ALL the RIGHTS and benefits; they just want the same basic ones the patriarchy has. Who the fuck ever said they want ALL the rights? Those above are basic rights. What the hell are you scared of, that's the real question?
You honestly think women will stop at the same rights men have? You honestly believe they won’t just keep seeking more and more and more and more and more? You must be a progressive… progressives don’t know when to stop progressing until they start regressing without realizing it.
@SolitarySolace Are you deficient upstairs? Your logic, or lack thereof, says that "If we allow women to have same rights as we do, they will want more rights than we have?" Wtf is wrong with you? It's not "Progressive" for all humans to have the same rights, regardless of their gender. That's only a "progressive idea" if you're a fascist, dude. Obviously, you think you're superior to women simply because you're male. You're one messed up dude.
Reported for calling me mentally deficient and twisting my words
@loveslongnails What are the "same basic (rights)" than "the patriarchy" has today in the US that women do not have?
Hmm... I ASKED if you were deficient, I didn't CALL you deficient. There's a difference. Women don't have the right to control their own bodies in 14 states. Men have taken that right away. Start there.
I don't twist your words, I merely use them against you and your lack of logic.
@loveslongnails Dude. . . no.
MEN didn't implement abortion restrictions. The ELECTORATE in those states did. And over 50% of the electorate consists of women. Don't play that nonsense game of trying to place all men on the pro-life side of the abortion debate and all women on the pro-choice side. It's just rhetorical nonsense and you KNOW it is.
50% of the electorate were women? BULLSHIT. Are you nuts? Less than 1/3 of all elected representatives are women. Can you read a chart?
cawp.rutgers.edu/.../representativeness-women-state-legislators-race-ethnicity-and-state
Only EIGHT PERCENT of all adults favor abortion bans ALL cases, no exceptions. 8 effin percent of ALL adults, yet 9 states (all red) have full abortion bans, NO exceptions for rape or incest, and 3 others have near total bans (all red). Women aren't imposing this on their constituents, dude. The VAST MAJORITY of the ELECTORATE IS MEN.
It's in no way rhetorical nonsense; you just can't read data and accept the numbers. The "electorate" makes the laws, sure, but the electorate is overwhelmingly MEN!! "Ipso facto" is not a rhetorical argument, nor is it nonsense.
Do you ACTUALLY THINK a woman doesn't WANT to have a CHOICE about possibly bearing the child of a rapist? You probably don't.
@loveslongnails Wow--you really ARE a moron. What do you think the world "electorate" means? The representatives? No. Let me help you out:
electorate /ĭ-lĕk′tər-ĭt/
noun
1. A body of qualified voters.
It's the VOTERS you dimwit.
Hey stupid, I was talking the USA, you anonymous jackass. Let me school you on how things REALLY work, for example, in the USA, since you're not very bright.
Here's some numbers - they're called statistics. Look that up.
As of June 2022, there are 147 (28%) women in Congress: 24 in the Senate and 123 in the House. In 333 statewide elective executive offices, 101 (30%) are either led or co-led by women. Of 7,383 seats in state legislatures, women hold 2,295 (31%).
So genius, your ELECTORATE votes primarily for men, and whether women themselves voted for these men, OFTEN times voting against their own interests like most Republicans do, it's the MEN who then vote to restrict women's rights even more. Even if some women who are elected vote to do the same, it's irrelevant; it would happen anyway even if EVERY woman voted the opposite.
Men control lawmaking, and nothing exemplifies the old "patriarchy club" like the Congress in my country. I guess you're dumb enough to think that if the LEGISLATORS were 70% women, they'd restrict their own rights. LMAO.
@loveslongnails Holy shit--you're illiterate too! LMFAO! You still don't know what an electorate is? And you don't realize WHO VOTES THOSE LEGISLATORS INTO THEIR POSITIONS? How fucking stupid are you? How do you not forget to breathe?
If the legislators were 70% women and democratic leaning they’d restrict the rights of men in favor of the rights of women. Instead men are giving women extra protection rights that said women are abusing to hurt men.
Hey idiot. Yeah you. The electorate doesn't matter when 70% of your choice is men only. LMAO.
How fucking stupid are you? It's ok, keep hanging on to your "electorate" argument, because you have NO response to what the reality of what is happening.
You are exactly what you've been groomed to be - protector of the patriarchy.
@SolitarySolace You have no idea if that would happen, but that wasn't the point. The question was "would they restrict their own rights" Duh.
Depends on what you consider restriction of own rights and whether or not that restrictions would help both women and men better coexist together.
Also just to put this out there I reported you for offensive behavior @loveslongnails
@SolitarySolace oh, but not Mr. Opinion Owner?
@SolitarySolace BS answer. How does forcing a 12 yr old girl who was raped by her uncle to attempt to carry to term "help both women and men to better coexist together"? It doesn't, it just fits your narrative.
Pretty sure no one is forcing a 12 year old girl who war raped to carry to term. That’s your narrative.
@SolitarySolace Really? You think I made that up to "fit my narrative"? You're "rretty sure" no one is forcing that on a 12 yr old girl? You're correct, she was 10 years old and became pregnant when she was nine. The State of Ohio was attempting to force it on her. You're in a forum here dealing with facts, supposedly, and you make a statement like that?
On June 30, 2022, a ten-year-old girl from Columbus, Ohio, United States, traveled to Indiana to get an abortion because abortion law in Ohio did not provide an exception for minor children who became pregnant because of rape. Her case drew national attention and commentary from public figures, due in part to its proximity to the June 24, 2022, decision of the Supreme Court of the United States in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade and allowed states, including Ohio, to impose substantial limitations on abortion.
The girl had become pregnant in May 2022 when she was still nine years old. Her case was reported to the Columbus Division of Police on June 22, 2022. During the ensuing law enforcement investigation, a 27-year-old man was arrested and charged with two felony counts of rape. He pled guilty in July 2023. The office of the Indiana Attorney General investigated the Indiana physician who performed the procedure, and referred the matter to Indiana's medical licensing board, which heard her case on May 25, 2023.
* NINE states have abortion laws that DO NOT ALLOW exceptions for rape or incest.
* One state does not allow exceptions rape but does for incest
* THREE other states have near total abortion bans.

Apology accepted.
Ohio has enshrined abortion into its state constitution so I have no idea why you’re crying over nothing.
@SolitarySolace LMFAO! Well put!
@SolitarySolace Excuse me, can you read? This happened in 2022. Hopefully that was the impetus to get it into their constitution. Crying over nothing, huh? Tell that to other 13 states that now have no incest, no rape exceptions. Oh, you don't think it'll happen again? Tell that to the 3 women and 2 doctors suing the state of TN for putting their patients at catastrophic risks.
Wow, you really just don't get it. The patriarchy has done its job on you.
@SolitarySolace It's also happened in MS and TX
You do know that with abortion, you and those women will never reproduce and the future will be conservative because conservatives are the only ones actually having children and teaching those children actual morals and conservative family values? You’re just encouraging the genocide of your own bloodline 🤣 @loveslongnails
@SolitarySolace. That makes no sense at all (why am I not surprised?) Your implied assumption is "only liberals will get abortions if women are in charge of their own bodies". That's only been statistically incorrect for the last 50 years, but what the heck, who needs statistics, right? Another FYI, liberal leaning or conservative leaning is not a genetic thing or a bloodline.
What I'm encouraging, or rather demanding, is the freedom to choose and not be forced to live by the edicts of some narrow-minded Christians and their interpretation of their book. One would think that's clearly NOT what the Constitution or founders had in mind simply by reading the document, but apparently they don't get that either.
No, because the "patriarchy" is a goofy invention by feminists who want to keep pretending that women are so horrifically and hopelessly oppressed by men who work hard and want families.
That's like asking don't men contribute to women being selfish golddiggers by trying to give them thier hearts desire".
When you love someone you want to make them happy. Men generally like to feel like men, as women like to feel feminine and like women.
Like it or not we still have gender NORMS in society. That have worked for generations. Nothing will ever be perfect.
You cannot "perpetuate" patriarchy or matriarchy. The family and social dynamics of most societies is the way it is because there are more males than females or vice versa.
It's literally the natural way of things. I'm marriage this doesn't mean shitting on your wife the way feminists think. The household needs a leader and children need their mother more when they're infants. It's simple and natural
Patriarchy isn't a real thing, its just a buzz word that male dependent feminists made up to hate on men that have agency over their own lives.
It’s kind of funny really. Women think marriage is patriarchal and somehow benefits men. While men believe women are the only ones who benefit from marriage. Regardless marriage is a pointless thing
Patriarchy hasn't existed for longer than I have been alive
Patriarchy is what built civilization and yes women being submissive enables it but it's a good thing.
are you saying all women do? Because I can give you direct evidence that’s false. Lol
What is this direct evidence?
@SolitarySolace my friends and relationships including my wife, I know that’s anecdotal evidence. But I can only extrapolate.
I will agree that the tradwife thing is big on the right wing. Obviously 50% of women voted against Hillary.
The fact that you have a wife just shows that your bias because your in love. Those who aren’t in live think differently.
I think more women just decided not to vote in 2016. If roe v wade had been overturned before the 2016 election I think more women would have voted for Hillary and that soulless bitch would have been president.
@SolitarySolace well you did say “all” women…and I blatantly proved that wrong.
When did I say “all”?
@SolitarySolace you openly and freely implied it. This is like arguing with a 4 year old
Never openly and freely implied it. You’re assuming because of my opinions and views.
The only place a wife should not be equal is in the bedroom, where she should be the submissive one.
@Peridot25 cowgirl style? Yes, why?
@Peridot25 not really. He's not on his knees. He's not tied up. He's thrusting up into her.
@Peridot25 in which case he'd be submissive
you never knew that submissive men and dominant women exist? rare but they exist
@Comingback yes, some "men" like to be submissive and dressed up like school girls
lol not necessarily, some just like women who can take the lead in bed, some are too extreme, but it depends on the person, it's difenitley more common than you think though
One question. There are LOTS of men, including Yours Truly, called "Cowboy." I don't believe I've encountered or even heard of a woman called "Cowgirl."
@handsomelad70 the GIRL is riding the cock
@handsomelad70 That’s what the position is called
Their "dominance" in marriage? How so?
Dominant men who organize everything in marriage and submissive and obedient women
Organize what?
What? Woman want to marry in order to archive security and stability
Yes, of course.
