I've always been a little bit of a nerd, into gaming, anime, etc. if your partner thinks those things are immature, weird or against gaming. I’ve always wanted to go to comicon but couldn’t do it alone because I get anxious and not confident about going to things by myself.

I was more looking at how do you bring your partner into your interests in a loving way. she's never actually said it was immature or weird just the vibe. she's an amazing person, I just want to explore sharing my interests.

So my partner was not into video games like I am, and I have a broader taste in movies than she does.

But the thing about good relationships is that you embrace your partner's interests too. So if your partner is calling your interests, the things that make you happy, immature or weird, then they really aren't giving you the respect you deserve.

I have none, havnt for years since I moved. I’m an introvert and all my previous friends were like a tree, one friend connected me to others.

I went from a extrovert to a introvert as an adult at times not having anyone around trying to go back to extrovert you can do it bro! :) I encourage you to find a social group in your area of men and ones that go out to pick up girls also thats what i did and it helped im constantly working on my confidence even tho im in shape never been told im ugly its incredible difficult but i read lots of books now have been helpful i encourage you to whatever you struggle with like i struggle with self esteem im gonna get a book on that amazon has everything i went on a date recently and was incredibly surprised the girl started talking about video games so i would definitely whatever you struggle with do research on it and study it and books and keep reaching out to people it won’t happen over night but at-least i don't kick myself in the face as much every day

Being an adult sucks most of the time. About the only good thing that comes with being an adult is that you can make you own decisions and, generally, you now have money to do the fun things that you want to do. So ignore her reply and do what makes you happy.
