Is it weird to not feel anything around someone attractive?

It’s not to say I don’t feel attracted to some women even very strongly. But some people look at me weird when I talk to someone they see as beautiful without being nervous or have a beautiful woman touch me and I don’t feel anything at all…

Truthfully I don’t feel anything around even women men see as beautiful. I don’t feel attracted or nervous. To me…. They’re just people. I’m straight and do occasionally like someone. But I don't know maybe I’m weird? People act like it’s weird

No it’s not. (It’s the same as asking if it’s weird that you bike wo training wheels on bc everyone around you still needs their training wheels.) Just bc someone is pretty doesn’t mean you can’t talk to her normally. It’s probably refreshing for her to have a friend. PLUS she’s probably happy you don’t stare or trip up around her.

The spark of attraction often relies on a deeper emotional or intellectual connection. If you don't feel a click on a conversational or emotional level, the physical attraction may not materialize. Just my 2 cents.

I have always had the same experience with men. 99.9% of men do nothing for me on a physical level.

That’s the thing. A lot of people (men and women) just feel attracted by simply seeing someone. I’ve found people like you and I are the minority.

I communicate with attractive people all the time in my field of work. I just numb myself to it.
