For those of you who have attracted a number of people in messy situations, a lot of past baggage, etc, any reason why you think that is?

For some people they like the emotional roller coaster as well as the drama of being with someone in messy situations. That’s not the best reason to be in a relationship with somebody but that’s what it is some people like drama.

Number two is people who want to rescue someone and save someone form a situation they’re in. Some people you can help but you have to be careful of people who simply want a enabler who will make you miserable.

i don't think it has anything to do with attracting people with baggage. I think it ultimately has to do with having lower standards.

People with low standards usually are ALWAYS in a relationship and are more likely to be married.

Having looked at the guys that my female friends are dating, I would never ever date guys like that.

They are usually the type of personality that trusts too easily or, ignore to signs, or always want to help others in a messy situation.

I think I represent some form of order to their chaos. Unfortunately, they seem to think because I have a steady job, no children and no exes still in my life that I have some inclination to help or that I'm easy to manipulate into taking on that baggage but that simply isn't the case.

I know those women would have turned me down when I was much younger and less financially successful. It actually was the case on one occasion where one of the woman wanting my affections had rejected me with unnecessary cruelty when we were much younger. It's funny how she became "nice" to me after she became a single mother to 3 children from as many men.

LOL, try finding someone without baggage by the time they hit age 30-35. People are generally a mess. Hence why I avoid most people.
