Why are beautiful people objectified so easily?

for ex, statements like, "why you aren't dating her man? she's pretty... is she bossy, that's what's stopping you?" or "fine, i would let you have him, he's all yours, what a fine guy but he's probably broke or something lol so you take him"

do people not understand attractive people are also humans with independent beliefs and values, they're more than a piece of art?
