Yes and it's annoying. My last partner and my first and second partner were both hyper masculine in some aspects and tried to compete in everything, even physical stuff, when they stood absolutely no chance.

I think some of them felt insecure.
Like they couldn’t keep me around because my personal success would open doors and give me better options later


Unfortunately that belief turned self fulfilling because they sabotaged an otherwise perfectly good relationship.


I never felt superior to anyone.
But when she deliberately puts herself in an inferior position I’m left feeling dealing with an awkward dynamic
