Depends.

For example if we’re just friends or if I’m on a project with them, who cares?

If I like him, I’ll see if he initiates. I prefer for the guy to “be the man” and initiate, show interest, all that. I’m old school in that way. And if he doesn’t, we’re probably not getting into anything serious.

It really depends on the context. If it were a simple matter of who contacts who first in the day, if I wanna talk to him I’m just going to reach out. If there’s more to the story and maybe there was a huge fight or even a breakup, it depends on who’s at fault. I won’t say something first if he’s the one who needs to get his ass off his shoulders and apologize. I also won’t reach out if the situation were toxic or needs to be done with altogether.
