What you you do if they told you to get rid of your cat or dog prior to moving in?

Personally that would be the end of the relationship, as many of you know I have cats. My cats are my family. No way would I get rid of my cats if someone I was dating told me to.. Thank God I married someone who loves my cats as much as I do.

I guess this is something the two people should discuss before it gets that close to move in together. Make it clear that you are keeping your pet family no matter what.

Let them go into the wild blue yonder and find someone who doesn't have pets.

Unless she was severely allergic and it was the only thing standing between us having a long lasting relationship.
It would break my heart but I would entrust the cat or dog to a close friend or relative so that I can still visit often without exposing to something dangerous

No you didn't mention cats but you should becouse they look adorable. by the way i have a cat and a dog and i wouldn't leave them.
