At work he will be giving some attention, he can call out my name more than once or he always greets me good morning and sometimes he may have small chat with me, he got mad at me the other day bc I kinda ignored him and he started raising his voice at me now I don't know if that’s his way of joking but the next day he tried greeting me again and I said hi back he was like I was about to say…. But other than that I do catch him glancing at me from distance often and yesterday and today he did come out of his way and help me with work related issue without asking I don't know what’s his problem

Don’t be unnecessarily rude but don’t be flirty. Maybe he’s being friendly I don’t know depends on how he acts around everyone or maybe he is platonically fond of you. Issue is… Stay friendly. Don’t push it past being professional if you feel it’s crossing lines respectfully put a stop to it.

Based on the context I assume (can’t say for sure) there is some feelings. But if he’s in a relationship and you are aware of it. Doing anything with him you deserve any consequences.

I’m 54 and have been working at my company since I graduated from high school. When I first started at my company the older workers didn’t treat me very well. They either ignored me or discouraged me saying I was too young or didn’t know anything.
So today when ever we hire a young person to work with us I make sure to treat them nice and make them feel welcome, I also make sure they are trained and receive the help they need.

It’s as if the only way to remedy this would be ignoring you completely, because what gives “interested” about greeting your coworker every morning? Or “sometimes” having “small” chats? This sounds incredibly casual.
