We met online. We’re long distance. He seems genuine and he’s very sweet and attentive. He’s a hedge fund manager and wants to manage my money for me. I don’t want our relationship to become about money so soon.

If you’re comfortable with him managing your money, sure. If not, don’t. You don’t really know him that well, despite his job title. You don’t want to find out he’s controlling in the end, just saying. It depends on you and your choice
